In late 2005, it was reported in a number of sources that Iran purchased eighteen BM-25 long range missiles with eighteen launchers from North Korea.  These missiles, originally designed by the Soviets, sold to the North Koreans and redesigned, can, from Iran, hit most points in Europe. Reports of the range of this missile run from 2,500 to 4,000 km.

Known in the U.S. as the Musudan, there are no definite, confirmed photos of the Iranian BM-25.
